Psalm 78:33-35

³³ So he ended their days without ·meaning [purpose; Eccl. 1:2]
    and their years in terror.
³⁴ Anytime he killed them, they would ·look to him for help [seek him];
    they would ·come back to God [repent] and ·follow [be intent on] him.
³⁵ They would remember that God was their Rock [^Cthe one who protected them],
    that God Most High had ·saved [redeemed] them.
